Cake AND ICE CREAM!

A while back I learned that Jeremy's college, NC State has a dairy production on campus, and they produce ice cream! You can buy individual cups too! So we're purchasing some for our wedding, and of course I had to have a stylish place to put it with our dessert buffet..... I spotted this, and had to have it!

It will live in our dining area before and after the wedding to house beer and other things when people come over! I love it!

LOTS of Weekend Stuff....

On my trip to Crate and Barrel Friday, I found this stuff too! The ultra sleek toasting flutes I'd been hunting, and some perfect, orange card holders for the explaining each of the desserts!

Then, in Target yesterday they had the brown peep-toe pumps I'd been eying online on sale! Yay! They also had some fun greenery that's exactly what goes in my bouquet! Only $2.99 for each bunch! :-) The second picture is what my bouquet will look like :-)

I took some fun pictures of my ring in one of the flutes last night too!

AND FINALLY.....

The BCBG Dress from Ebay arrived on Saturday!!! I really, really like it!!!! Jeremy wasn't a huge fan, because he doesn't care too much for sequins. I will continue to look at dresses for the reception, but this is a solid option! :-)

Dessert Bar

So, as stated in a previous post... we're doing a dessert bar instead of a big expensive cake! I think I will start collecting fun, odd cake plates in different heights! :-)

Here's what items will be on the bar so far-

1. Pumpkin Pie (made by me!)
2. Pecan Pie (made by Jeremy's mom!)
3. Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cupcakes (made by Maxie b's our bakery, and my former employer)
4. Kiss Cake, my mom's recipie, maybe I'll make this one too! It's a bunt cake, with a lemon glaze... yummy!
4. Cheesecake! :-) my mom made the best ever... but since this is a relativley hard thing to master, we'll probably buy one from the Cheesecake Factory, or Cheesecakes by Alex in Greensboro.

I plan to have some little signs made to go with each dessert, telling what it is, and who made it!
